I am very pleased with Obama. Though I hear a lot of negative stuff from most of the locals here in KY.. lol

From the outside it looks very well, what obama does....
But hey, he only has to beat the actions of Bush. And thats not difficult. ;>

I am all for it. hell the military already has a system in place and it works just fine.

Me being one of the millions of people with no health insurance, I would like to see a system that a person can afford. The way it is now, you have to choose between buying food, etc.. and paying for health care. Its ridiculous.

It honestly costs $200 per week t have health care. Plus you have to pay your copayments amd for your prescriptions. For us working class people, its almost impossible..

We should have a nation wide health care for both military and civilians kind like a democracy- socialism in a good way not like Adolf Hitler or Joesph Stalin or any third world country, and we should have jobs when i get out of the Marines i will probably have a hard time finding a job since i am Infantry and served 2 years in Iraq . Now trying to recruit 17-35 year old's and i am not that old. my old recruiter and I work together surely he is a Sstg. and i am about to make My Stg. and i might be heading to Afghanistan soon but time will tell i think this War has lasted long enough and i voted for McCain

well I agree we need universal health care .. Thankfully they have a program for kids and they are covered.. that takes alot of worrie away i just pray to never get sick myself. I voted for Oboma this time around I am torn right now on him ..It is still kinda early to tell.

He's made some big mistakes, but he may well regain my trust in the long run. Universal health-care can work, and does in Europe, Canada, and even Cuba. The problem is, it has never worked effectively in a nation the size of the US. True it has been attempted, but never to a level were it would be feasible in THE first world nation. We are the worlds only superpower, we have the most spoiled consumers, and many will not settle for anything less than extraordinarily high standards in health-care.

In addition, we already spend more per-capita on health-care than any nation in the world and have next to nothing to show for it. Our average life expectancy is lower and there isn't even universal health-care yet.

If our government wasn't so corrupt and divided and largely inefficient it might be possible...

Obama should at least let our troops come home

Well, Government health care isn't the smartest move. It's always remarkably inefficient and will be handled with the same compassion and care as the IRS.

Looking at all these topics on here, makes some think. Does anyone ever think of why we spend millions of dollars to crash something in to the moon, The hundreds of space missions, the unexplained money cost, but yet we can't have heath insurance... They wouldn't do that anyway. The President doesn't run our Nation.. Thats what they want everyone to think.. Everyone always listens to whats on the news and what they show on TV.. Brainwashed. Thats what they want us to be.. See we all wondering about health reform, in the meantime, we have our attention turned for what they really have planed from us.
